Module 11- Driver Requirements

1. Present yourself in a professional manner at all times; remember you are representing the airline brand. The customer has been inconvenienced and showing courtesy and understanding to them can create a positive outcome.


2. Your appearance should be neat, you must be dressed appropriately displaying company ID and your

vehicle should be clean, secure and well maintained.


• Suggested appropriate attire would be collared shirt, company polo shirt and casual pants

or shorts when weather permits.


3. You need to use a smart phone to download the Where’s my Suitcase mobile application.

This application allows you to obtain an electronic signature from the customer and the ability

to take a picture of the bag when a signature is not required. This new technology should be embraced by all drivers.


4. Update all deliveries using the Where’s my Suitcase mobile app.


5. Contact the customer when applicable prior to delivery.


6. Inspect the bags for obvious damage and report to the airline immediately when picking up.


7. No smoking in the vehicle during your route.


8. Abide by state laws for texting and talking on a mobile device while driving.


9. Do not enter the customer’s residence.


10. Soliciting for a tip will not be tolerated and can result in termination of your services.


11. Vulgar language will not be tolerated and can result in termination of your services.


12. Adhere to delivery windows; notify the customer when you are delayed.


Suggested Language:

Hello this is Joe your delivery driver, I will be delayed due to traffic on my way to your home.

I should be arriving by 5pm.


13. Once the delivery is completed, no further contact should be made with customer.


14. Report any issues or irregularities to your dispatch office or manager.


15. Keep in mind, the delivery is the last impression of their experience.
